The news from little Gunner Brooks is not good. The cancer is not in brain of any other organ but if a different kind than original diagnosed. It's a AT/RT a typical teratoid rhaboid tumor. It only has a 10% survival rate for child under three years of age. He is just a little over three. He was a premee weighing only four pounds at birth, first surgery at 10 days old for cleft palate and has had several surgeries early in life. This cancer is very rare about 30 new cases a year. it's usually in brain or kidney which makes this more unusual.
They got all the tumor in spine last Thursday but sad to say the tumor is growing back in the same place. He is in a Children Research Hospital in Orange County Cal. He is looking at Chemo and Radiation treatments. They need a miracle and I believe our Jesus does. Please take this child Gunner Brooks and Parents, Jennifer and Bo and grandmother Barbara Kelly {my friend} on your heart and keep in your prayers.
Also my daughter Karla's father-in-law just had surgery and removed a malignant cancer from bladder. His name in Jink Harrell
